    An amazing example of multiple trophic levels - the prey appears to be the larva of a syrphid fly, which preys upon the aphids that can be seen in the photos. The was is preying upon the predator!

    Gotta love the parasitoids... they're a great bunch. One of my favs to write about... you might like the emerald cockroach wasp. Now that's a rude parasite :)
