I am enjoying this series of articles -- great habitats to explore. Did you come across any tiger beetles yet?

Hi Adrian. I'm glad you're enjoying it. No, I haven't seen any tiger beetles yet. I read about them on the great blog Beetles in the Bush that they can be pretty hard to catch!

I'm kinda jealous of all these desert trips you've taken . . . love the east mojave, lots of solitude out there. One Easter we got snowed on walking the Mitchell Caverns nature trail . . . very memorable.
