This post inspired me to offer my finger tip to a small praying mantis I found on a recent outing. That resulted in one of my favorite shots to date. Here it is.
Several years ago I came across a similar pod and brought it into my office. Unlike you, however, I didn't put it into any sort of containment, so when mine hatched, they covered the window screen - hundreds of them! Next time, I'll use a container!
